  1. FROGGY is the European Froggies Over The Fence demo by Legacy, ST
  2. Connexion, and Overlanders, et.al..  This is a huge demo--it comes as
  3. three compressed files totaling over 3 meg (three full disks even when
  4. compressed)!  The description says that this demo has excellent sound
  5. and graphics, even 4096 colors on a regular ST!  It is also supposed to
  6. run on any ST or STE with at least one Meg of RAM.  Unfortunately it
  7. doesn't, at least on my STE (TOS 1.62, 4 meg, with a T-25 accelerator
  8. board set at 8 MHz.  It won't work on a standard 1 meg 8 MHz STE
  9. either).  The docs also say that you need to set your screen frequency
  10. to 50Hz (use any change Hz program or the one that is connected to this
  11. download on Delphi.  An interesting point about that screen frequency
  12. converter is that it is by Barry McDuling who lives in Nambia!).  In any
  13. case, the opening screen (which is as far as I can get before the demo
  14. bombs) is very nice.  You must have a program which will uncompress .MSA
  15. files created this demo.  Color only.  The three LZH files uncompress to
  16. 831K .MSA files which need the Magic Shadow Archiver or compatible
  17. program to write the files to destination disks.  No docs.  You need a
  18. program that will format extended disks to use this file.  See the
  19. FORMTCPY category.  Requires the use of an LZH compatible archiver to
  20. uncompress.  See DCXTR22B in the UTILITYS category for a good utility to
  21. do this.
